How can I get started racing?
All racers must pre-register to race. Send us an email to soapboxderby.cape@gmail.com and we will get you started.
Do I have to buy and build a car?
In a word, NO! Cape Rotary has club cars that you can re-build to fit your driver and use it to start racing. Several local businesses and organizations also have cars that they will loan to racers. Contact our Race Director to find out more.
How can I donate my time or money to help this local program?
Cape Rotary depends on our sponsors to be able to host the SBD event. This year our Title Sponsors are Lawless Harley-Davidson and Carsforlife.com. Please visit our sponsor page to view all of our sponsors and be sure to support these businesses throughout the year. If you or your business to like to help support our race contact the Race Director or any Cape Rotarian.
